Dr. Kurt Brooks, PT, DScPT, OCS

Physical Therapist, Board Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist

Physical therapy is Kurt’s life. Since graduating college in 1992, he has dedicated his career to its study and practice. He has channeled his decades of experience at multiple clinics into a doctoral degree, a former educator and fellowship director at Duke University, a former private practice owner and a seasoned expert with multiple specializations and certifications.

But while physical therapy may be his passion, it’s not his entire story. Like many of us, Kurt is a family man, married since 1993 with two awesome adult children. He’s also surprisingly geeky, with a soft spot for fantasy literature, video games, volleyball and soccer. Kurt also holds a second-degree black belt in Tae Kwan Do, so be careful around him.

Kurt is an expert among experts, and we are honored to have him on staff since 2008.
